Friends of Friends was founded in 2019 in Encinitas, CA. They manufacture in house and import artisan hats using a slow fashion process. They are in partnership with 1% for the planet.

This is 100% toquilla straw with a cotton sweatband. The straw is grown and handwoven in Ecuador. We press our toquilla straw hat bodies in North County San Diego and finish them in house by sewing in the sweatband, adjustable band and dressing the hat bands to the exterior.
