this hand made organic throw is tribal and has been used by the weavers, The Vankar for centuries. Beautifully textured and color variation in the wool makes this a striking throw. Small looms are in all homes in this region and is a way to make extra money when the harvest is over. For some it is a full time livelihood. There is a joint in the middle of the throw because the weavers in this region have small looms this throw is completely made by hand.

Made with the use of natural, botanical-dye and azo-free dye to ensure a low environmental impact. Sustainability, empowerment, and ethical production are a priority in the making of this piece. Honoring and supporting weavers, embroiderers, dyers and painters of cloth, artisans who have honed and perfected their skill through generations. Their intricate handwork, dedication and passion is reflected in the design.
