Hand-built object made using mixture of clays and gathered earth materials. 

Sourced from a ceramic duo in Galiano Island, British Columbia. Inspired by the natural textures, tones, and formations of the earth, the couple creates handmade pieces that honor both nature and humanity’s ancient relationship with clay. Rooted in craftsmanship, ritual, and intentional living, their work embraces slowness, mindfulness, and the beauty of the handmade process.

This piece is not only a reflection of the earth, but mankind’s ritualistic relationship with clay for thousands of years. A co-creation with the earth, and is inspired by the natural textures, hues and formations that exist in our world. This piece is left raw and unglazed. The subtle imperfections give this piece a presence.
