Sourced from a ceramic duo in Galiano Island, British Columbia.

This piece is inspired by lessons from the serpent. The serpent is a sacred creature in many cultures. It is a symbol of transformation, rebirth and healing. This collection vessel was made with the following mantra in mind :: transforming, transmuting, surrendering, releasing :: serpent medicine.

This piece is not only a reflection of the earth, but mankind’s ritualistic relationship with clay for thousands of years. A co-creation with the earth, and is inspired by the natural textures, hues and formations that exist in our world. This piece is left raw and unglazed. The subtle imperfections give this piece a presence.
